Uses of Plants

1. Some plants are used as food. E.g. watermelon, bitter leaf etc.
2. Some plants are used as medicine.
3. Some plants produce materials used for building houses. E.g. Iroko tree.
4. Some plants serve as shade.
5. Some plants like the cotton plants give valuable materials which are used for making cotton, cotton buds, cotton wool and clothes.
6. Some plants are used to beautify our surroundings.
