Use different methods to help the children memorize the multiplication table 3 first, for example, let them learn to count in threes to 36. This is a drill that should be done many times.3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36. The children are to memorize the multiplication table 3 after this step. Daily repetition of the table is necessary.
Do the same with multiplication table 4. Counting in fours to 48. 4, 8, 12 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36 40, 44, 48. After this step, the children are to memorize the multiplication table 4.
Assist the child to go beyond this step with the other tables, one at a time: MULTIPLICATION TABLE 5, MULTIPLICATION TABLE 6, MULTIPLICATION TABLE 7, MULTIPLICATION TABLE 8, MULTIPLICATION TABLE 9 and so on. Please note that the multiplication tables are the key to success in Mathematics for each child. They must strive hard to memorize all the basic tables and all hands must be on deck to assist them.
