BRIEF EXPLANATION: Money is what we used for buying and selling.

Our money is called naira. Mummy goes to market with money always. She uses the money to buy the things we need.

 

  1. Denominations of Naira notes – These different notes listed below, should be collected and introduced to the children, one note at a time, for recognition. This is practical work. Talk about the colour of the different currency notes. The children should also be made to observe the number written on each note. Treat N 5, N 10,
  2. N 20 and N 50  on one day and the rest of the currency notes on the next day. Do revision of all the currency notes on the third day.
