The students sit and learn in a type of room known as a classroom. There are also many rooms for different purposes.

Definition of a room

A room is a part of the inside of a building that is separated from other parts by walls, floor and ceiling.

Types of rooms

  1. Sitting room
  2. Bedroom
  3. Kitchen room
  4. Dining room
  5. Bathroom
  6. Study room/library
  7. Class room
  8. Laundry room
  9. A dressing room
  10. A play room

How to care for the rooms

Below are some ways of caring for our rooms

  1. Dust and clean furniture and take pieces from the rooms.
  2. Brush the walls with a special brush or long broom.
  3. Wash the toilet and bathroom regularly.
  4. Mop the floor.
  5. Remove cobwebs.
  6. Brush the rugs or use vacuum cleaner.
  7. Use air freshener for a sweet fragrance.

Cleaning agents

The following are some cleaning agents used in cleaning our rooms.

  1. Water
  2. Detergent
  3. Brush (long or short)
  4. Bleach
  5. Broom
  6. Dettol, Izal
  7. Mops and rugs
  8. Scouring powder.
