Types of transportation
There are 3 major means of transportation. They include:
- Land transportation: – this is the movement of passengers and goods from one place to another, on land. It enables us to move from one village to another and from one town to another. Means of transportation by land include:
- buses
- cars
- bicycles
- motorcycles etc
Another method of land transportation is by rail, using trains.
- Water transportation: – This is movement of people and goods through oceans, seas and rivers. Means of water transportation include,
- boat
- canoes
- ship etc
- Air transportation: – This is the movement of people from one place to another through air. Air transport is often seen as the fastest type of transportation. Means of air transport include.
